Tina was born and brought up in Bhopal. However, her family had to shift to the national capital – Delhi by the time she was in class 7. Tina was a very studious kid and had an interest in learning about the Indian constitution, plus politics ever since she was a school kid. Her debating skills are marvelous as well, and because of this, Dabi got the chance to become the Vice Speaker of the Youth Parliament in 2012. And regarding her performance, it was splendid!

After her HS, she joined the Lady Shri Ram College for Women in New Delhi, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. And not very surprisingly, she bagged the title ‘Student of the Year’ at her College. About her civil service journey, she had already initiated her preparations as an 18-year-old woman from RAU’s IAS Study Circle. Tina has also disclosed that as a part of her preparations, she gave 9-12 hours every day for her studies with a time plan for each subject.

she is presently an IAS officer. Her journey began in 2016 when she was offered the role of Assistant Secretary for 13 weeks (deputation) in the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises of the Government of India. A year later in 2017, she got promoted to Assistant Collector in Ajmer, Rajasthan. A year after, around the month of October in 2018, her new position was shifted and she was approached for Sub-Divisional Officer or SDO and Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara area. And then in 2020, her new role was CEO- Zila in Parishad, Sri Ganganagar. By the end of 2020, her position was shifted again and she became the Joint Secretary, Finance (Tax) Department in Jaipur, Rajasthan. By 6 July 2022, she was appointed as the 65th District Collector and Magistrate of Jaisalmer district in Raja

she has been married twice in her life to date. Her first husband was Athar Aamir Khan, an IAS officer, too. The ex-couple met at a formal IAS felicitation ceremony in 2015, an event that was ongoing at the DoPT office in Delhi. Both went for training together and were appointed at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy for Administration in Mussoorie. They became very close to one another and even went on international trips together to the Netherlands, Paris, and Rome together during their training days. Both got married in 2018 but unfortunately, filed for divorce in 2021. Dabi married for the second time in 2022 to another IAS officer, named Pradeep Gawande. He is from the 2013 batch where he achieved the 478 AIR and originally hails from Latur, Maharashtra. Currently, he is posted as the director of Archaeology and Museums in Rajasthan. she has achieved great things in life, both academically and professionally. She comes from the scheduled caste category and was the first woman from the community to achieve AIR 1 in the UPSC exam. After clearing her exam, she went through her training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, where she completed her training of two years. Once her training was done on 29 June 2018, she received the prestigious President’s Gold Medal for her hard work.
